The date is set for Saturday night, the 25th June, kicking off 7pm at Alloneword (next to the Step In in the Valley).

This is a party for all you design kids, however there will be a substantial bar tab (measurable to the likes of well funded guilds like Law) for AA members (don't forget your cards) and some pizza early in the night! Best of all, this event is FREE!!

*IF YOU WANT TO JOIN AA on the NIGHT - $10 EXACT CASH PLEASE (hunt down Elise - blonde with glasses)

QUT 2nd Year Architecture Students: Wearable Architecture Exhibition GP D-block level 1, 6pm

AA will be running a BBQ downstairs, whilst nibbles will be on offer upstairs.

Saturday night 14th August 2010
Tribal Theatre, 346 George St (used to be the old Dendy, Roma Street Station end of town)

A selection of the best short urban films created by DAB410 students for "DAB410 Architectural Design 4" are to be screened at Tribal Theatre, George St (at what was the old Dendy cinema, up towards Roma Street Station end of George Street)

6.15pm Theatre opens to allow RSVP'd attendees* to find a seat
7pm-8.15pm Film screening and awards
8.30pm The Tribal Theatre crew have generously offered to allow film makers & attendees to stay on and celebrate. There will be a DJ on stage and drinks available

Expected to finish around 10.30pm

As everything is so busy at the moment, we have had to combine this Peer 2 Peer session with the 4 Tables workshop to create a Super-Session.

When: Saturday the 22nd May

Where/When : Jblock Workshop (8am - 10am), D block comp labs (10am - 5pm) QUT GP

What: Laser Cutting, Rapid Prototyping, band saw, hot wire, sanding machines, Adobe software, Archicad, Sketchup, Autocad etc.

UNMISSABLE KNOWLEDGE TO BE LEARNED! MAKE YOU END OF SEMESTER WORK YOUR BEST!!

TO CLARIFY: There are 2 sessions running in each timeslot e.g. at 11am there is Photoshop OR Autocad.

Congratulations to all the second year Arch students who donned their architecture-inspired creations on Friday night. It was really exciting to see and participate in event that was about putting yourself and your designs out there. It was nice to see a high level of collaboration on the rooms & runway shows. Hotel Bravo is located at 445 Brunswick street in the valley, across the road from blockbuster.
Buses 199, 196, 197 and 195 all go really really close to Bravo and can be caught from the cultural centre or adelaide st in the city (stop outside city hall or anzac square), also has a pretty small car park with a few places to park usually
